Our Paralegals and staff are an integral part of Paukert & Troppmann, providing valuable assistance to the attorneys and cost-effective service to our clients. The firm currently employs three knowledgeable and courteous paralegals who work under the supervision of the attorneys.

Brianna has lived in Spokane Valley her whole life.  She began her career in the legal field nine years ago while still in college.  She graduated from Eastern Washington University with a double major in Psychology and Criminal justice.  Brianna is an experienced paralegal in civil class actions, consumer protection, and personal injury lawsuits.

Brianna loves spending time with Jack, her black lab, her little brother (who is 21 years younger), and her niece and nephew.  She also enjoys camping, golfing, running. working out, and reading in her spare time.

After raising 5 children and obtaining her Paralegal degree, Hilary began her legal career as a real estate paralegal and later served as a title examiner in Syracuse, NY. In 2008, she and her husband returned to the Inland Northwest.

For the last 8 years, Hilary has served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) in northern Idaho advocating for abused and neglected children in child protection cases. After taking positions as an assistant to a pastor, Leader of Admissions for Paul Mitchell the School, and as Director of Development for the First Judicial District CASA Program, Hilary believes she has found her niche serving as the paralegal for Breean Beggs, Andrew Biviano and Beth Dillon. She is proud to assist this team of attorneys who advocate for vulnerable individuals in our community, which is close to her heart.

Lynn Yost is a graduate of the University of Missouri, Columbia, with a BS in Business Administration (Major Marketing). Lynn is a paralegal as well as the firm’s bookkeeper.

On her time off, she enjoys participating in triathlons, reading, and attending theater.

In a small town on the Oregon Coast, Rachael Smith began her career as an Administrative Professional at a regional hospital and has since worked in other industries, including health insurance authorization, manufacturing, and advertising. After rejoining her husband’s family in Spokane, Rachael began working at Paukert & Troppmann. The clients, attorneys and staff enjoy her upbeat personality and Rachael has discovered a fascination with the law.

Rachael enjoys spending her spare time with her husband and son. Her hobbies include photography, reading, making wooden crafts, and numerous outdoor activities.
